Improve 1% Each Day
As psychologist Carl Jung puts it: “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.“
What are your life goals? New year resolutions? Or even next week’s wishlists?
As we all know, those lists aren’t that useful until you execute actionable steps to get there. And habits are the best way to take us to long-term goals, but we often leave it to luck or procrastinate for the golden goose that falls from the sky.
Think like an athlete. Gold medalists improve daily with unnoticeable differences for years, they don’t suddenly get 500% than everyone at the age of 21. Your successes are the accumulated 1% every day, and you will certainly see results after you have done 6 months of consistent workout, or ongoing practice of a musical instrument, or refining the craftsmanship of your work.

If you want to learn even more, I’ve finished this Audible audiobook and put together actions, and hacked my morning rituals. I’ve been waking up at 6 am, and before I start the day at work I have already done yoga for 45 minutes, Japanese study for 30 minutes, and another 20 minutes of workouts.
Habits are powerful. Once you learned how to hack your mind and body, and put actions in place, you will be able to level up automatically.
